Plymouth has lovely beaches, forests and moor land which I enjoy while hiking, cycling, swimming or while I was a member of the Scouts. Therefore I have always felt more at home on the sea and in the country side than in a big city!
My Education and career was dominated by Engineering, in particular the fields of Robotics, Electronics and computer systems. In previous employments I was an International service engineer for installing and maintaining company equipment on oil rigs located world wide. Before that I was an Industrial robotic programmer.
In recent years, I have spend alot of personal and work time travelling around outside the EU to places such as Brazil, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Saudi Arabia and USA.
